MASMOVIL LUZ y GAS is a Spanish electricity and natural-gas retail brand. Its energy supply is provided by Energía Colectiva, S.L. The Plan Amigo discussed here concerns a new electricity contract, even though the brand also sells gas and has separate discounts for customers combining energy and MASMOVIL telecommunications. Do not confuse those offers: they have different eligibility and timing.

For each qualifying new electricity customer, the person who recommends can receive up to €20 including VAT. The invited new customer can receive up to €20 as well. Each electricity invoice can carry only one Plan Amigo reduction of at most €5, so €20 usually requires four eligible bills. The company's legal conditions say the invited customer gets their first €5 on their first eligible electricity invoice after activation. If a bill is smaller than the credit, the unused amount carries to later invoices. Discounts are not applied to final cancellation invoices, so leaving early can mean losing unredeemed value.

The official conditions state that there is no limit on successful referrals, but the discount application is capped at one Plan Amigo per electricity bill, worth at most €5. For example, three friends could generate a nominal €60 of inviter credit, yet that does not mean €60 will disappear from the next bill. Check the customer area and invoices for remaining credit and timing.

The energy website also advertises separate €3, €6 and €9 monthly discounts on MASMOVIL telecom bills for eligible bundled gas/electricity customers, with a published promotional validity date of 31 October 2026. That date is attached to those telecom discounts, not clearly to the Plan Amigo legal terms. The website separately advertises a €30 web-signup electricity discount that says it cannot be combined with other electricity-bill discounts. Confirm with the provider which offer takes precedence before ordering; do not promise simultaneous bonuses.

If the tariff is already right for your household, a legitimate invitation can reduce electricity costs for both sides. Compare the base energy price, standing charge, taxes and expected annual usage before changing suppliers. The advertised lack of permanence does not guarantee that unredeemed referral credit survives cancellation. Save the invitation, confirmation of activation and bills, and contact support if a qualifying €5 reduction fails to appear.
