What is ReferTree?+
ReferTree is a platform built specifically for referral links and codes. You can collect your referrals on one public profile, show the reward and important conditions clearly, share one URL, track clicks and optionally make eligible referrals discoverable through the ReferTree community.
Is ReferTree free?+
Yes. Creating a ReferTree profile and adding referrals is currently free.
Can I add a referral link, a referral code, or both?+
Yes. A referral can use a link, a code, or both. ReferTree keeps those fields separate so visitors can immediately see how the referral should be used.
How do I add a referral manually?+
From your dashboard, open My referrals and choose Add referral. Select or add the company, choose whether the referral uses a link, a code or both, add the reward and any important conditions, then save it.
How can I import referrals I already have?+
Use the ReferTree importer. You can scan a supported public profile or upload an Excel/CSV file. ReferTree shows you what it detected before anything is saved.
- Log in and open Import referrals.
- Choose a public profile link or an Excel/CSV file.
- Review the referrals ReferTree detected and complete anything marked as needing review.
- Select the referrals you want and import them.
Can I import my referrals from Linktree or Beacons?+
Yes. Paste the URL of a public Linktree, Beacons or another supported profile into the importer. ReferTree scans the public buttons and links, tries to identify referral services, links, codes and rewards, and then gives you a review screen before importing.
How do I import referrals with Excel or CSV?+
Download one of the ReferTree templates, fill in your referrals and upload the completed file in the importer. Required columns are marked in the template. Supported uploads are .xlsx and .csv files up to 8 MB.
- Download the Excel or CSV template.
- Add your referral information to the template.
- Open Import referrals and upload the completed file.
- Review the detected referrals and import the ones you want.
Will importing overwrite the referrals already on my profile?+
No. Importing only adds new referrals. Existing referrals are not updated or overwritten. ReferTree detects existing companies and duplicate links or codes, and referrals that need a manual check are not imported until you review them.
What happens if ReferTree cannot recognise a company or some information is missing?+
You can review and edit the detected referral before saving it. If a company is not available yet, you can add the service manually. Missing rewards, conditions, links or codes can also be completed in the same referral editor used elsewhere in ReferTree.
What is the difference between ReferTree and Linktree?+
Both can give you one profile URL that points people to multiple destinations. Linktree is a general-purpose link-in-bio tool. ReferTree is designed specifically for referrals, with dedicated fields for referral links and codes, rewards for each side, important conditions, expiry information and official terms, plus referral discovery, referral-specific analytics, importing and referral-program guides.
Can other people discover my referrals without me sharing my profile directly?+
Eligible referrals can appear in Explore Referrals, where ReferTree members can search for a company and discover community-shared referrals. You remain in control of the Explore visibility settings available for your profile and referrals.
What analytics does ReferTree provide?+
ReferTree tracks referral clicks so profile owners can understand which referrals are being opened and where traffic comes from. The product is designed around privacy-first analytics and does not rely on invasive fingerprinting.
Can the same referral be published more than once?+
ReferTree prevents duplicate referrals. You cannot keep multiple referrals for the same company in one profile, and the same referral link or code cannot be published across different profiles. This helps keep community listings cleaner and avoids duplicate ownership claims.
Do I need a ReferTree account to use someone else's referral?+
No. Public ReferTree profiles and their referral links can be opened without creating an account. Some community features, such as Explore Referrals, may require you to be signed in.
Does ReferTree guarantee the reward shown on a referral?+
No. Referral rewards, eligibility rules and deadlines are set by the third-party company operating the referral program and can change. Profile owners are responsible for describing their referrals accurately, and users should check the company's current terms when a condition is important.
Can I add any referral program to ReferTree?+
ReferTree is platform-agnostic: it provides a place to organise and share referral links and codes, but it does not operate or control the third-party referral programs listed by users. You may add a legitimate referral that you are entitled to share, but the rules of the company running that referral program still apply — including any restrictions on public sharing, eligibility, geography, incentives or promotion. Each user is responsible for ensuring that their use of ReferTree complies with those third-party terms and with ReferTree's own Terms of Service.
