NordVPN Referral Program 2026: 3 Free Months for You, Up to 3 for a Friend

An eligible subscriber finds a personal invitation link in Nord Account or a supported app and sends it privately to someone who has never had a NordVPN account. The friend opens the unexpired link and buys on the official website. After validating the purchase, NordVPN adds time to both subscriptions. This consumer referral programme is separate from the NordVPN affiliate and partner programmes.

The referrer gets three extra months for each qualified referral, regardless of the friend's plan. The friend gets one extra month with a monthly subscription or three with a one- or two-year subscription. Extensions follow the services included in the purchased plan; they are not cash and cannot be withdrawn. Compare the upfront price and renewal cost before choosing a longer term.

NordVPN has an official Spanish-language offer, but its terms do not list every eligible country. Referrers must be at least 18, hold a valid Nord account and have or previously have had a paid Nord subscription. The friend must be a true first-time customer. Purchases billed by Apple App Store or Google Play are ineligible. Not every NordVPN app has the Invite menu: try Nord Account in a browser if it is missing.

There is no published fixed end date or numerical limit on legitimate invitations. NordVPN can change or terminate the programme and test different rewards. Do not confuse the referral with seasonal discounts, NordPass or NordLayer promotions, or paid affiliate programmes.

NordVPN says bonus months are added immediately after a qualified website purchase, subject to verification. Check the new expiry date in Nord Account and contact support if it does not update. If the friend requests a refund within 30 days, both parties lose their bonus months. Extensions cannot be exchanged for cash or included in a refund.

• Self-referrals, fake accounts, businesses and Nord employees are excluded.
• If the Invite UI is missing, check Nord Account on the web and your billing channel.

For someone already planning to buy NordVPN, the extra months reduce the effective monthly price. A longer subscription is a bigger commitment, so check renewal terms. The referrer's benefit matters only if they intend to keep using NordVPN. Crucially, NordVPN's official terms reject referral links obtained from third-party websites: do not post your NordVPN link in public referral directories.
