The public page advertises €20 for fibre, €15 for a ported contract line and €5 for a ported prepaid line for the newcomer. Referrer amounts are inconsistent across simyo's own pages, so verify the amount shown in your account before sharing. Rewards unlock only after three qualifying months.

How simyo's invitation programme works

An existing simyo customer shares a personal invitation link or code. The friend must never have held a simyo line, and must sign up on simyo.es for fibre or port a mobile number with an eligible monthly tariff. The invitation is identified during the order, not after it. Both accounts can see pending credits once the new service activates, but these are not spendable immediately. This is a Spanish telecom offer, not a general discount for any simyo purchase.

Rewards: why the amounts need checking

simyo's public landing page displays €20 for fibre, €15 for a contract mobile number port and €5 for a prepaid port. Its FAQ graphic, however, labels €40/€30/€10 as the inviter's reward while another written FAQ example describes €20 and €15 for both people. The legal PDF delegates current amounts to the promotional page rather than fixing a number. For accuracy, treat the new-customer figures as advertised and confirm the inviter's exact amount in the app or account. Eligible products in one first order can add up, subject to the €200-per-friend legal ceiling.

Step by step: share and claim

  1. 1

    Find your invitation

Open the simyo customer area or app and copy your referral link or generate a code. A code remains valid for 60 days.

  2. 2

    Check the friend's eligibility

Make sure the friend has never been a simyo customer and wants fibre or a ported mobile line on a tariff of at least €7/month.

  3. 3

    Sign up online

The friend uses your link on simyo.es or enters your code, phone number or identification in the invitation field during step one of checkout.

  4. 4

    Keep the service active

Wait until the new line is active; the qualifying tariff must stay in place for three months.

  5. 5

    Check and use the reward

Review pending and available credit in Bolsa or Hucha, and contact simyo on 1644 if it fails to appear.

Who qualifies in Spain, and who is excluded?

The inviter needs an active, usable simyo line; contract customers must be up to date with payments, and prepaid users must have recharged within the previous six months. The invitee must be a completely new simyo customer, not an existing or former one. A mobile signup needs number portability; a brand-new mobile number does not qualify. The selected tariff must cost at least €7 per month. Fibre signups are eligible if contracted online and subject to coverage. Shop and other offline channels are excluded.

When the credit becomes usable

The reward appears as pending after eligible lines activate and becomes available in the third month only if the referred lines stay active on a qualifying €7-or-higher tariff for the required three months. Cancelling or downgrading early voids the benefit. The invitation code expires after 60 days, so regenerate an old code before your friend signs up. The programme itself has no scheduled end date, but simyo may amend or terminate it with notice.

How to spend credit, become a Gurú or request a transfer

The Bolsa normally applies available credit automatically to contract bills or to prepaid balance. The Hucha lets customers save it for a phone or, for contract customers with at least €300 saved, request a bank transfer during the first 20 days of June or December to an account registered with simyo. The FAQ says ten successful friends in a year unlock Gurú status and higher future rewards, subject to ongoing conditions. Prepaid referral balance does not replace the paid top-up required to keep a SIM active.

Important exclusions, discrepancies and expiry

  • No self-referrals and no referrals of former simyo customers.
  • No in-store or other offline signups; invitation must be captured during online checkout.
  • No new-number mobile activation: mobile eligibility requires number portability.
  • A mobile tariff below €7/month is not eligible.
  • Early cancellation or downgrade within three months forfeits the pending reward.
  • The invitation code resets after 60 days; an expired code may not track.
  • A contract customer with unpaid bills, suspended service, disputes or invalid data can be excluded.
  • The legal PDF says credit expires two years after becoming usable; the FAQ instead describes two years since the last invitation. Verify your account expiry.
  • A bank transfer is not automatic cash: contract only, €300 minimum in Hucha, June/December application window.
  • The legal maximum is €200 per invited person per beneficiary even if promotional copy elsewhere describes higher Gurú scenarios.

Is simyo's referral deal worthwhile?

For someone already switching Spanish mobile or fibre providers, a qualifying credit can reduce the first bills, but compare the ongoing tariff, network coverage, fibre installation terms and any equipment costs first. For the inviter, bill credit is useful if they will remain with simyo. Do not describe the credit as instant cash: the three-month condition, Hucha threshold and twice-yearly transfer windows matter. Keep a screenshot of the current personalised reward because the public official pages conflict.

FAQs

simyo referral FAQs

What is simyo?+

simyo is a Spanish telecom brand offering flexible prepaid and contract mobile plans and home fibre. Its mobile service uses Orange's network in Spain. This article covers only the Spanish simyo.es invitation programme, not similarly named operators abroad.

How much does the invited customer get?+

simyo's official referral page advertises €20 for fibre, €15 for a contract mobile number port or €5 for a prepaid port, with qualifying products potentially combined.

How much does the person referring get?+

Official material conflicts: the FAQ graphic shows €40/€30/€10 for inviters, but other written examples use €20/€15. Check the exact live reward in your simyo account; do not assume either figure is guaranteed.

Does the programme work outside Spain?+

This guide concerns the Spanish simyo.es programme. A similarly named operator in Germany or the Netherlands has different offers and terms.

Can a former simyo customer join with a code?+

No. The Spanish terms exclude anyone who has ever had a simyo line, as well as self-referrals.

Can I refer someone taking a new mobile number?+

Not under this offer. Mobile service must be a number port from another provider. Fibre signup is an alternative eligible route.

When is the reward credited?+

The benefit appears pending after activation and becomes usable in the third month if the referred lines stay active on an eligible tariff for three months.

Can I cash out the reward?+

Contract customers with €300 or more in their Hucha can request a transfer during the first 20 days of June or December. Otherwise use bill, prepaid or phone discounts.

Does the referral code expire, and is there a limit?+

The invitation code resets after 60 days. The FAQ mentions up to 1,000 invitations annually, while the legal PDF caps each person's benefit at €200 per invited customer.

Can I stack rewards, and what is Gurú?+

Qualifying fibre and ported lines in one initial order may add up. simyo's FAQ describes Gurú status after ten successful invitations in a year, with enhanced future rewards.

What if the credit never arrives or expires?+

Check online signup tracking, first-time eligibility, the €7 tariff and three-month condition. Contact simyo at 1644; save order details and the reward shown in your account.
